Starting from Scratch.


Simpson Unlimited’s old site hadn’t been updated since the mid-2000’s and was in need of a design overhaul and an extensive technical update. The design was difficult to navigate and had an undefined user journey. There was no clear call-to-action or trust elements featured on the homepage.

Because of it’s clunky interface, slow speed, and poor SEO, the website wasn’t living up to its potential as a lead generation tool. Simpson had no centralized CRM, leading to issues tracking leads, customers, and open opportunities, as well as reporting sales activities. 

Their dated CMS had a hard-to-update WYSIWYG.

Modern Design

Simpson Unlimited needed a modern website with future-proof functionality to clearly articulate the value they bring to customers, the services they perform, the locations they service, and a comprehensive content strategy to improve organic search engine results and increase traffic and leads.

Friendly Backend

They also needed the website to be user-friendly on the backend so they could make small changes to the design, update imagery, and add or remove content. 

Mobile Friendly

Their old website wasn’t functional in mobile, requiring a full redesign of the mobile experience.

We provided comprehensive project management and transparency by building a detailed timeline, task list, and collaborative process to keep the project on-budget and on-time. 

We conducted detailed content interviews with key stakeholders to understand their pain points in the sales process. We created a blog template from scratch and produced a monthly piece of pillar content. We provided editable WordPress setup and design collaboration and conducted competitive research, keyword research, design/development testing, system integration, and training to ensure the website was equipped with every modern and forward-thinking functionality.

We provided weekly updates during standing call times for project/process accountability and ongoing collaboration.
